FDA Approves First GLP-1 Therapy for MASH

The FDA recently approved Wegovy® as the first GLP-1 therapy for adults with Metabolic dysfunction-Associated Steatohepatitis (MASH) and moderate to advanced liver fibrosis. This landmark decision expands one of the most widely used therapies for obesity and diabetes to liver disease and offers new hope to millions of patients and clinicians.
