Current Openings

AASLD, an association for scientists and healthcare providers in the field of liver disease, seeks a talented and dynamic Manager, Member Communities to join our People and Strategy team. The Manager, Member Communities will report to the Director, Member Communities. This position will manage the day-to-day activities for AASLD's Special Interest Groups (SIG) programs. This position also supports AASLD’s global activities including the work of our Global Outreach and Engagement Committee, the CONNECT program and other related projects. 

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree, plus a minimum of 3-6 years of successful program and operational management. This position requires an initiative-taking non-profit professional that can build and cultivate relationships with internal and external grantees and maintain CRM, grant databases, and manage grant contacts. 

AASLD headquarters is in Alexandria, VA. This position is currently remote. AASLD offers a competitive benefits package, including a 35-hour workweek, generous vacation/holiday leave, and retirement contribution.

AASLD, an association for scientists and healthcare providers in the field of liver disease, seeks a talented and dynamic Manager, Practice Guidelines to join our Publications and Practice Resources team. The position is responsible for managing the development of guidelines and practice documents from project initiation through publication. The manager works closely with the Director of Practice Resources, the Practice Guidelines Committee Chair and the Chairs of the Guidelines writing groups to ensure that the guidelines are produced following the highest standards. The position supports the work of the Practice Guidelines Committee (PGC) and will provide some support the Practice Metrics Committee (PMC) in the discovery and implementation of advances in care to accelerate progress toward prevention and cures of liver diseases.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a health-related field, plus a minimum of 3-6 years of successful project and operational management. This position requires a pro-active non-profit professional who can manage numerous projects and maintain communication and provide key updates/information to initiative leaders through both informal and formal communication channels.
