A Single Topic Conference (STC) is two days of focused work on a critical topic in liver disease. It's an invaluable opportunity to exchange, evaluate, and extend your research with your peers.
2013 STCs
Basic and Clinical STCs are designed to complement one another. Plan to attend both.
The Henry M. and Lillian Stratton Basic Research Single Topic Conference
Portal Hypertension and Vascular Biology of the Liver
June 7-8
Emory Conference Center
Atlanta, GA
AASLD/EASL Clinical Research Single Topic Conference
Portal Hypertension and Variceal Hemorrhage
June 8-9
Emory Conference Center
Atlanta, GA
Funding
AASLD's Governing Board funds Single Topic Conferences. We gratefully acknowledge additional support from Roche Pharmaceuticals for the Hepatitis STC and The Henry M. and Lillian Stratton Estate for the Basic Research STC.
STC Attendance
Attendance is limited to medical professionals only. The presence of any individuals who are not medical professionals and have a primary interest other than the exchange and evaluation of information and research could greatly alter the environment and hamper the free and open forum of dialogue and exchange of ideas.
