The American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) provides a Hepatology Self-Evaluation of Medical Knowledge module in support of Maintenance of Certification (MOC). AASLD partnered with ABIM to create this module solely dedicated to hepatology. Diplomates enrolled in MOC can complete the hepatology module for recertification to receive 20 medical knowledge points.

Educational materials on this site were prepared by members of the ABIM/AASLD Hepatology SEP review committee, including Bruce R Bacon, MD (chair); Jeffrey S Crippin, MD; Michael B Fallon, MD; Jaquelyn F Fleckenstein, MD; Joseph S Galati MD; Steven K Herrine, MD; Paul Martin, MD; and Richard K Sterling, MD.

To learn more about ABIM’s Self-Evaluation requirements for MOC, visit ABIM’s website: http://www.abim.org/moc/self-eval.aspx
