Overview

The 2017 Clinical Hepatology Update will provide a unique opportunity for medical and surgical professionals to receive up-to-date information on critical clinical topics in liver disease from leaders in the fields of hepatology and hepatobiliary surgery.

Presentations will offer clinically relevant information on the diagnosis, management, and treatment of all types of liver disease. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to discuss controversies and treatment strategies commonly seen in clinical practice.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  • Discuss controversies in disease diagnosis and/or management in patients with a broad range of liver disease.
  • Assess and implement new mechanistic insights and treatment tools with broad application to patients with liver disease.
  • Apply new skills to patient care learned through direct interaction with faculty from case-based discussion.
