Each year the AASLD Foundation makes a significant impact through our Research and Career Development Awards by funding new and emerging research and providing fellowships for future hepatology professionals.
Through the generosity of our donors, we continue to invest in a future that will generate innovative liver research and improved patient care.
In 2016, we awarded $2.56 million in funding for the research and career development programs. That’s close to $200,000 more in funding than last year. We invite you to learn more about the research of these future hepatology leaders.
Even with generous supporters, each year meritorious research is still going unfunded. You can help make more research and education for liver disease possible.
A donation of any amount will make a difference for the future.
There are many ways to make a difference in research through a donation. Here are just a few ways our donors have supported advances in hepatology.
