Wiley InterScience prompts users of its website who access online journal subscriptions via a username and password toward registration with a valid e-mail address. Requiring an e-mail address as a login helps reduce duplicate accounts and improve security, and has become a widely standard practice among such high-profile websites as Amazon, Ebay, PayPal, and Barnes and Noble.com.

Wiley InterScience recognizes that this represents a change from the method of user authentication it currently employs, and every effort is being made to ensure a smooth, unintrusive transition.

Login Procedures

As an AASLD member subscriber to HEPATOLOGY and/or Liver Transplantation, you are entitled to access the journal(s) online. You have been registered as a Wiley InterScience user with the following information:

Login = your e-mail address (example: xxxx@xxx.xxx)

Password = aasld-member (your password is case-sensitive)

You should have already received an e-mail from Wiley, requesting that you click on a link to authenticate your registration information. It is necessary to validate that information before you can access your journals(s) online. If you have not done so already, please do it now.

Once your information has been successfully authenticated, you can access your journal(s) by logging in at http://www3.interscience.wiley.com/cgi-bin/home with the information above. You may then browse or search for your journal title (s).

If you wish to change your password, you may do so once you've logged in. Click on "My Profile" in the upper right corner, then "View Complete Account Information" and "Edit Login Information." You will be asked to enter and confirm your new password, which you can then use the next time you login to Wiley InterScience. New members will have their login automatically established using the email provided on the application form. You will then receive an email from Wiley Interscience requesting that you click on a link to authenticate your registration information. It is necessary to validate that information before you can access your journals(s) online.

All member subscribers - if you wish to change your password, you may do so once you've logged in. Click on "My Profile" in the upper right corner, then "View Complete Account Information" and "Edit Login Information." You will be asked to enter and confirm your new password, which you can then use the next time you login to Wiley InterScience.
