AASLD extends sympathy to Julie Deal upon the death of her husband. James A. Deal, 44, of Alexandria, VA, born October 22, 1964 in Washington, DC, passed away on March 11, 2009 after a year-long struggle with leukemia (AML). He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Julie, and three children, James, Jr., Hannah and Joe. A mass of Christian burial was held at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Alexandria, VA, on March 14.
