The Ribavirin Pregnancy Registry Needs Your Help!
|

Ribavirin is contraindicated in pregnancy. The Ribavirin Pregnancy Registry enrolls pregnant women who have been inadvertently exposed to Ribavirin either directly (six months before pregnancy or during pregnancy) or indirectly (through her male sexual partner six months before pregnancy or during pregnancy) to examine the risk of major congenital malformations in this population. The Registry follows the pregnancies to outcome. Live births are followed for one year.

Understanding the safety of Ribavirin in pregnancy will be delayed until adequate numbers of patients can be enrolled. The Registry encourages health care providers to report to the Registry all pregnant female patients who have been directly or indirectly exposed to ribavirin. For more information, please visit www.RibavirinPregnancyRegistry.com or call 800-593-2214.
