AASLD Announces Newly Elected Governing Board Members

Councilor
We are pleased to announce the election of Adrian M. Di Bisceglie, MD, FACP, St. Louis University School of Medicine, to the AASLD Governing Board. In accordance with the bylaws, he was elected by the Governing Board from a slate provided by the Nominating Committee on May 29, 2009. He will serve a three-year term as Councilor beginning January 1, 2010, followed by three additional years as President-Elect (2013), President (2014), and Past President (2015).

Secretary
We are also pleased to announce the election of Jorge A. Bezerra, MD, Children's Hospital Medical Center, Cincinnati, to the Governing Board as Secretary. He will serve a three-year term as Secretary from January 1, 2010 to December 31, 2012.
