Campaign Celebration Event

On Saturday October 31 during The Liver Meeting® 2009, AASLD held a dessert reception to thank the donors to the New Challenges-New Solutions campaign. Dr. Natalie Torok, a past Liver Scholar Award recipient, was the guest speaker and talked about the impact AASLD has had on her career: allowing her more time for research.

Each of the leadership donors to the campaign was given a recognition award by campaign co-chairs Dr. Scott Friedman and Dr. Arthur McCullough.  Drs. Friedman and McCullough also recognized the volunteers that served on the Campaign Committee for their hard work during the campaign.
