AASLD’s Industry Colloquium has been rescheduled for 2022. More details about the event, including how to register, will be available soon.

Course Description/Need Statement

There is a significant need for understanding the future of liver preservation and support in liver failure and transplantation.  This is based on an organ shortage, waitlist mortality, and the need for increased safety in the field with new technologies to replace solid organ emergent transplants.  The 2022 AASLD Industry Colloquium: Perspectives and Advances in Liver Preservation will provide state-of-the-art insights on device development, organ assessment, preservation strategies and key issues around the use of preservation devices. In addition, the conference will provide the first technical and clinical framework for several perfusion devices and examine the different strategies for successful perfusion/preservation of donor livers.
