Registration Cancellation Policy

Requests for cancellation must be submitted in writing to meetings@aasld.org.

Cancellations received:
• On or before Friday, February 9, 2024 will be refunded in full.
• Between February 10 and 26, 2024 will be subject to a $50.00 cancellation fee.
• On or after February 27, 2024, attendee is not eligible for a refund.

Continuing Medical Education (CME)

Accreditation Statement: The American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Designation Statement: AASLD designates this enduring activity for a maximum of 14.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

American Board of Internal Medicine Maintenance of Certification (MOC) 

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation components, enables the participant to earn up to 14.50 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

CME Credits

Physicians seeking AMA PRA Category 1 CME CreditsTM for this live activity must complete the course evaluation by Friday, May 31, 2024. A link to the CME evaluation will be emailed to attendees after the course.


Physicians seeking ABIM MOC points must complete the CME and MOC evaluations by May 31, 2024. Requests for MOC points after this date will not be honored. The MOC evaluation will be available online along with the CME evaluation.

MOC points will be reported to the ABIM by June 7, 2024 for physicians who successfully complete the required evaluations by the May 31, 2024 deadline.

  • Evaluate research advances in OMICs technologies and how they relate to MASLD care
  • Understand novel ‘wet’ and ‘dry’ biomarkers and their applications in MASLD diagnosis, risk stratification, and monitoring response to therapy
  • Identify strategies and best practices for using precision medicine to care for patients with MASLD now and in the future
