Drug-induced liver injury (DILI) is a major problem for drug development and clinical care. Several unresolved issues require new understanding and consensus. Especially difficult is the much greater cost of adequate safety studies over proof of efficacy studies. This international academic-industry-government conference will discuss current findings and thinking on DILI and drug safety by experts in hepatology and toxicology and special presentations.
