Continuing Medical Education (CME) Statement

The American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. 

During The Liver Meeting®, designated Annual Meeting sessions, the Postgraduate Course and Basic Science Symposium are offering the opportunity to earn ABIM and ABP MOC points. 

Credit Designation Statements

Annual Meeting

The American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) designates this live activity for a maximum of 39 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

AASLD/ASGE Endoscopy Course

The American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) designates this live activity for a maximum of 6.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Basic Science Symposium

The American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) designates this live activity for a maximum of 7.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Postgraduate Course

The American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) designates this live activity for a maximum of 6.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

AASLD/ILTS Transplant Course

CME Statement: This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) and the International Liver Transplantation Society (ILTS). The AASLD is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) MOC Statement

Annual Meeting

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 13 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

Basic Science Symposium

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 7.5 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

Postgraduate Course

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 6.75 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) MOC Statement

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the activity, with individual assessments of the participation and feedback to the participant, enables the participant to earn 7 MOC points in the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABP MOC credit.

Postgraduate Course

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the activity, with individual assessments of the participation and feedback to the participant, enables the participant to earn 7 MOC points in the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABP MOC credit.

These courses are co-provided by Amedco and the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD). Maximum of 17.5 (AASLD/ILTS Transplant Course 6.0, Hepatology Associates Course 4.75 and Postgraduate Course 6.75) contact hours.

The following ticketed activities will be awarded nurse continuing education contact hours:
