2019 Program-at-a-Glance

The Liver Meeting® 2019 will provide a forum for the exchange of groundbreaking basic, translational and clinical research in diseases of the liver and biliary tract, and in liver transplantation. This meeting will create an arena for the presentation and interchange of opinions on state-of-the-art care and management of the full spectrum of patients with liver disease.

Overall Learning Objectives

  • Incorporate new scientific evidence into clinical care protocols and improve the outcome of adults and children with acute and chronic diseases of the liver and biliary tract
  • Establish new collaborations, implement new clinical trials, develop comparative effectiveness projects, and complete investigative efforts that will improve the outcome of adults and children with acute and chronic diseases of the liver and biliary tract
  • Implement effective care plans to improve the long-term outcome of the transplanted patient

Target Audience

Groups include clinical hepatologists, gastroenterologists, other health care providers (mid-level providers, internists, pediatricians, family practitioners), and trainees (students, residents, and specialty fellows). The target audience also encompasses scientists studying the development, physiology, pathology, translational medicine, and clinical trials related to the liver and biliary tract and liver transplantation.

If you would like to view the full meeting programming details, you can view the Online Program here [Coming Summer 2019].
