You won’t want to miss today’s Community Conversation  line up! Join fellow attendees for conversations about liver health challenges around the globe and more.

Start the day with an introduction to the World Health Organization’s (WHO) hepatitis elimination program. Join presenter John Ward, MD will explore the role of WHO and hepatologists in global hepatitis elimination efforts and what the role for organizations like AASLD might be. Learn more.

Members of AASLD’s Global Outreach Committee will convene to discuss collaboration opportunities with colleagues and providers in Africa. This informative, collaboration-focused conversation will include an assessment of the needs of the local communities within the African region, ways to develop meaningful collaborations with AASLD, and explore ways to help local providers with AASLD resources. Later today, there will be a series of community conversations examining the challenges of liver health in the Asia-Pacific region. Each talk focus on a different liver disease state, including HBV, NAFLD and HCC, and will be lead by an expert in that area. View the schedule.

Patients, pop into one of today’s patient exchange conversations. These informal, networking-focused conversations allow participants to create their own group discussions and connect with other attendees.
