Each year AASLD and the AASLD Foundation offer Abstract Travel Awards to enable young investigators submitting promising research to The Liver Meeting® to attend and present their work to an international audience. Abstract Award applications are due at the time the abstract is submitted for consideration.

AASLD Foundation Memorial Travel Award Program

The AASLD Foundation Memorial Travel Award program was created to allow individuals to be honored by naming travel awards after them. Funding for these awards comes from donations in support of the award. For more information on Memorial Travel Awards, contact Julie Wolfe at jwolfe@aasld.org.

The Paul Angulo Travel Award for Best Abstract in Clinical NAFLD

The goal of this award is to encourage clinical research in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. The award will be given to either a fellow or a junior faculty (within three years of their first faculty position) submitting the most promising abstract in clinical research related to NAFLD to The Liver Meeting®.

This award is presented to a fellow or junior investigator who submits the most outstanding abstract on hepatocellular carcinoma research for The Liver Meeting®.
