Dr. Howard T. Lee is a transplant hepatologist and assistant professor in medicine and surgery at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas. He was born and raised in Taiwan and completed all postgraduate medical training at Duke. Dr. Lee's academic interests include viral hepatitis, chronic liver diseases, liver transplantation, medical education, technology application, and health disparity, with a special focus on the LGBTQ population. Dr. Lee is the chair of the LGBTQ subcommittee and a member of the communication of technology committee of the AASLD, executive board member of Rainbows in Gastro, and a member of the Inclusion, Diversity, Equality, and Access to Life (IDEAL) Committee of the American Society of Transplant (AST).
