Alcohol-Associated Liver Disease: From Prediction and Phenotyping to Transplantation and Population Trends
Nov
2026
Description
This session presents advances across the spectrum of alcohol-associated liver disease. Talks span novel risk-stratification and mortality-prediction tools (an explainable AI decision-support model, metabolic/quantitative-fibrosis histophenotyping, and decompensation in AH), evolving practices in early liver transplantation, and pre-transplant psychosocial evaluation. Complementary epidemiologic analyses examine sex differences in alcohol consumption that may inform alcohol risk assessment and public health policy.
