Andrea D Branch, PhD
Biography
Dr. Branch is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Liver Diseases at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. She is the Director of Basic and Translational Research in the Institute of Liver Medicine. Dr. Branch received a BS in zoology from the University of Michigan, an MS in cell and developmental biology from the University of California, Irvine, and a PhD in molecular genetics from The Rockefeller University. She is currently investigating the cancer genome of patients with HCC, analyzing the genomic architecture of cirrhosis, and investigating genomic risk factors shared between liver and cardiovascular disease.
