Biography

Dr. Tombazzi is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in the Divisions of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition as well as Palliative Care Medicine. He completed medical school at University of Tennessee Health Science Center-Memphis, internal medicine residency at VUMC and subsequently completed Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship, Gastroenterology, and Transplant Hepatology fellowships at VUMC. His clinical practice focuses on patient centered care for patients with advanced liver disease with special interest in provision of outpatient palliative care in this patient population.
