Daniel Q Huang
Biography
Associate Professor Daniel Huang is a Senior Consultant at the National University Centre for Digestive Diseases and Chair of the Hepatobiliary Cancer Programme at the National University Cancer Institute (NCIS), Singapore. His research focuses on risk stratification of liver diseases, including MASH, hepatitis B, and hepatocellular carcinoma. Dr. Huang's work has informed international practice guidelines on hepatitis B, MASLD, and HCC, and he is contributing to local and international guideline development. Dr. Huang has authored over 250 publications in leading journals including Gastroenterology, Cell Metabolism, Gut, Nature Reviews Gastroenterology & Hepatology, Nature Reviews Disease Primers, and The Lancet Oncology. He is an Associate Editor of Alimentary Pharmacology & Therapeutics, serves on the Executive Committee of the Gastroenterological Society of Singapore, and is Co-Chair of an APAGE task force focused on developing the next generation of academic leaders.
