Daniela Allende, MD MBA

Biography

Daniela Allende MD MBA is a Professor of Pathology. She has served in many leadership roles, including Vice Chair of Research, Director of Clinical Affairs for the Pathology Division, GI/HPB subspecialty director and currently as Board of Governor Professional Advancement Council, Chair of the Governance Committee, and Vice Chair of the Conflict of Interest and Innovation Management Committee at Cleveland Clinic. She is the President of the Latin American Pathology Foundation and Vice President of Hans Popper Hepatopathology Society. She is actively engaged in teaching at all levels nationally and internationally. To date, she has published over 140 peer-reviewed manuscripts, multiple book chapters, and edited book in GI/HPB pathology. She is involved in many federal and industry-sponsored studies in her areas of research interest (alcoholic and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis).
