Danielle M Tholey, MD
Biography
Danielle M. Tholey, MD is a Transplant Hepatologist and an Associate Professor at Thomas Jefferson University/Sidney Kimmel Medical College. Dr. Tholey serves as the Program Director of Jefferson's Transplant Hepatology fellowship and the Medical Director of the Live Donor Liver Transplantation program. She is passionate about medical education and is also a course instructor at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College. Her clinical and research interests include living donor liver transplantation, post liver transplant outcomes, liver diseases of pregnancy and global health. She currently serves on the Executive Committee for the American Society of Transplantation's (AST) Living Donor Community of Practice, the AASLD Training and workforce committee as well as volunteers with GI Rising, an NGO dedicated to enhancing medical care and training in Rwanda.
