Biography

Doan Y Dao, MD, is a hepatologist and physician-scientist at Massachusetts General Hospital and a faculty member at Harvard Medical School. His work focuses on chronic hepatitis B and hepatocellular carcinoma, integrating longitudinal hepatitis cohorts, translational biomarker research, and clinical investigation to advance precision prevention and early detection of HBV-related liver cancer. His research is supported by the National Institutes of Health, the U.S. Department of Defense, industry partners, and foundations.
