Elaine Y Gee, MD
Biography
Elaine Y. Gee, MD, is an Internal Medicine hospitalist and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine. She received her medical degree and completed her Internal Medicine residency at Washington University in St. Louis. Her academic interests focus on medical education and point-of-care ultrasonography (POCUS). Since earning her CHEST POCUS Certification of Completion in 2015, she has been an active POCUS educator at the local, regional, and national levels. As senior POCUS faculty at Weill Cornell Medicine, she teaches and mentors POCUS fellows, Internal Medicine residents in the Distinction in POCUS track, attending physicians, medical students, and physician assistants. She has served as invited faculty for numerous regional and national POCUS courses, including the CHEST Essentials in Critical Care Ultrasound, SHM Rocky Mountain Chapter, Southern Hospital Medicine, and the University of Texas Health San Antonio POCUS courses.
