EzzElDien A. Ibrahim

Biography

I am a second-year Internal Medicine resident at the University of Missouri-Columbia. I trained in the Department of Endemic Medicine at Cairo University, where I earned a master's degree in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Infectious and Endemic Diseases. My research focuses on hepatology, gastroenterology, and endoscopy, including primary biliary cholangitis, hepatocellular carcinoma, and alcohol-associated liver disease. I am a 2026 AASLD Resident Research Award recipient. I hope to pursue a gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship.
