Biography

Janis Stoll, M.D., is the Medical Director of the Pediatric Liver Transplant program and the Healthy Start Clinic at St. Louis Children's Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine. Under her leadership since 2020, the transplant program continues to expand while advancing clinical capabilities to include living donation, combined heart-liver transplantation, and ABO-incompatible liver transplantation for a complex patient population of over 170 transplant patients. Passionate about quality improvement, Dr. Stoll oversees clinical outcomes and QAPI initiatives to ensure patient care consistently meets or exceeds national benchmarks. Deeply committed to the next generation of specialists, she also serves as the Program Director for the Pediatric Transplant Hepatology Fellowship, where she spearheads the curriculum and training for future pediatric transplant hepatologists. Dr. Stoll's work emphasizes multidisciplinary care, regional community outreach, and strong clinical collaborations with major pediatric care institutions.
