Jennifer Haglund, MD

Dr. Jennifer Haglund is an Associate Professor of Medicine and a practicing Transplant Hepatologist at the University of Minnesota. She leads her division as the Co-Section Lead of Hepatology, and is the Associate Program Director of the GI Fellowship. Dr. Haglund additionally serves the Medical School as the Co-course Director for GI/Hepatology for all campuses of the University of Minnesota, and as a Clinical Skills Facilitator for the first- and second-year medical students in the Twin Cities. Within the AASLD organization, she has served on the FOLD committee since 2024, and now the Online Learning Committee. Her clinical interests include autoimmune liver diseases, cirrhotic cardiomyopathy and other cardiac and liver disease, and long-term care of the adult liver transplant recipient. She is most excited about the Online Learning Committee and building on her real passion- medical illustrating.
