Dr Jorg Taubel - CEO and Co-Founder at Richmond PharmacologyDr Jorg Taubel is a clinical pharmacologist and CEO of Richmond Pharmacology, a leading centre for experimental medicine that he co-founded in 2001. He has served as Principal Investigator in more than 500 Phase 1–3 trials and is an MHRA-recognised investigator for First-in-Human studies. Dr Taubel dosed the first patient in the landmark NTLA-2001 CRISPR-Cas9 in vivo gene editing trial for transthyretin amyloidosis and has since led multiple gene editing studies, establishing Richmond as a global leader in this field.He collaborates closely with the National Amyloidosis Centre and has enrolled the largest ATTR heart failure cohorts across several pivotal trials. An honorary senior research fellow at St George's and Visiting Professor at King's College London, he has authored over 200 peer-reviewed publications and is a Fellow of the ESC and Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine alongside being President-Elect of AGAH.
