Biography
Joseph C. Ahn, M.D., M.S. is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic with joint appointments in Gastroenterology & Hepatology and Artificial Intelligence & Informatics. A transplant hepatologist and AI researcher, his work applies generative modeling, synthetic data, and digital twins to accelerate clinical trial innovation in advanced liver diseases. He has published extensively at the intersection of AI and Hepatology and leads projects supported by the AASLD Clinical, Translational, and Outcomes Research Award (CTORA), the NIH AIM-AHEAD CLINAQ Fellowship, the Mayo Clinic Advanced Innovation Research (MC-AIR) Award, and the DOM35 Ignite Award.
