Biography

I am an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Karsh Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology and serve as Medical Director of the Liver Cancer Program at Cedars-Sinai Cancer. My research focuses on clinical and translational studies in liver cancer, with particular expertise in liver cirrhosis epidemiology, risk stratification, surveillance, early cancer detection, diagnosis, and treatment. I also lead biomarker-focused research aimed at advancing the management and outcomes of patients with liver disease through the development and validation of novel diagnostic and prognostic markers.
