Dr. Kanica Kaushal is an accomplished medical professional specializing in public health. She has worked at prestigious institutions and received recognition from both national and international organizations. At the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS) in New Delhi, Dr. Kanica has led innovative public health projects and is actively involved in implementing national guidelines for Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD). She is also committed to raising awareness and challenging the stigma associated with Hepatitis B through various campaigns, including EMPATHY (Empowering People Against Hepatitis) and WOMB (Winning Over Mothers with Hepatitis), as well as initiatives focused on fatty liver, such as SMilES (Stronger India through a Million Health Educated Students) and IMELD (Indian Metabolic and Liver Disease Study). With over 60 publications in national and international journals, Dr. Kanica is a prolific writer and an expert reviewer for elite journals.Her dedication, expertise, and compassionate approach make her an asset to public health.
