Michael R Stinchon, Jr, RPh, is the Associate Director of Government Programs- Formulary Strategy and Trend Management for Optum Rx in Avon, Connecticut. He has an extensive background in managed care working as a clinical consultant for several lines of business including Commercial, Medicaid, and Medicare. Previously, he was the Director of Specialty Programs for Aetna Medicaid and Clinical Director of Pharmacy at Bright Health. Mr Stinchon received his bachelor's degree in pharmacy from the University of Connecticut in Storrs. Before his career in managed care, he worked in hospital pharmacy with a focus on neonatal care and pediatrics.
