Biography
Nadia Ovchinsky, MD, MBA, FAASLD is Chief of the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Hassenfeld Children's Hospital at NYU Langone and Professor of Pediatrics at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. Dr. Ovchinsky received her combined Doctor of Medicine and Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management degrees at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and Rutgers University. Dr. Ovchinsky completed a residency in Pediatrics and a fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital of New York Presbyterian - Columbia University. Her clinical focus is on the treatment of children with chronic liver disease and genetic cholestatic disorders. Dr. Ovchinsky's research interests include improving the quality of care and enhancing the delivery of care for children with liver disease, developing novel therapies for children with cholestatic liver disorders, and optimizing long-term outcomes of pediatric liver transplantation.
