Nikki Duong, MD
Biography
Dr. Duong is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Stanford University. He is the Founder and Director of the LGBTQ+ Comprehensive GI and Liver Health Program. He also co-founded and currently is the Co-Executive Director of a non-profit, Rainbows in Gastro. During his time in residency at Georgetown University, he was selected as an AASLD Emerging Liver Scholar. His research focuses on steatotic liver disease, cirrhosis management, and health equity. He has authored or co-authored more than 65 peer-reviewed publications in journals including The Lancet Gastroenterology & Hepatology, Nature Reviews Gastroenterology & Hepatology, Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology, and Hepatology Communications, and has presented work at leading national and international meetings including DDW, AASLD, and ACG. He is an Associate Editor for ACG Evidence Based GI.
