Biography
Prasun K. Jalal, MD, is the Stan and Sue Partee Endowed Chair in Hepatology at Baylor College of Medicine. His clinical and research interests include liver transplantation, hepatocellular carcinoma, and MASH-related liver disease. He serves as Chair of the Education and Scholarship Committee of the International Liver Transplantation Society and leads NCI-, NIAAA-, and CPRIT-funded studies focused on early cancer detection, microbiome-based therapies, and biomarker-driven strategies in advanced liver disease.
