Objectives

  • At the end of this session, attendees will be able to describe the global burden of alcohol-associated liver disease, explain how current public policies impede progress, and how public policy can play a meaningful role in reducing the disease burden.
  • Attendees will be able to describe ways that alcohol-associated liver disease could be elevated as a priority with policymakers, at the federal, state, and local levels.
  • Discuss and share policies that can reduce the burden of alcohol-associated liver disease across borders.
