Biography
I am a biomedical research scientist at Duke University Medical Center with extensive experience in liver biology and molecular mechanisms of liver diseases. My research focuses on metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD), alcohol-associated liver disease (ALD), hepatocyte aging, cellular senescence, and liver regeneration. I am particularly interested in understanding how molecular signaling pathways, gene regulation, and hepatocyte plasticity contribute to liver injury, inflammation, and fibrosis. My work integrates molecular and cellular biology with advanced genomic approaches, including single-cell RNA sequencing and multiomics analysis, to uncover disease mechanisms and identify potential therapeutic targets.
