Ryan Chadha, MD
Biography
Ryan Chadha, M.D., is a consultant and Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL. He completed his residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital and his fellowship in liver transplant anesthesiology at Columbia Presbyterian NYPH. Dr. Chadha is the Vice Chair of Practice for the department, previously serving as the Division Chair of Multispecialty Anesthesiology from 2019-25, overseeing the anesthetic care for patients undergoing General/GI/Plastic/Colorectal Surgery, ENT, Urology, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, and Endoscopy/Bronchoscopy at Mayo Clinic in Florida. He is currently the Vice Chair of the Hospital Practice Subcommittee and the Medical Director of the Florida Operations Command Center for the hospital. In addition, he is the Medical Director of the Care Hotel at the Mayo Clinic. Outside of Mayo, he is an active member of International Liver Transplantation Society and the Society for the Advancement of Transplant Anesthesia. He is an oral board examiner for the ABA Applied Exam, and a member of the Editorial Board for the journal Liver Transplantation. His interests include perioperative outcomes in liver transplants, anesthesia for endoscopy and interventional bronchoscopy, and alternative care model for post-surgical and procedural patients.
