Shaopeiwen Luo, Ph.D.
Biography
Shaopeiwen Luo recently completed her PhD in the Signature Research Programme in Cardiovascular and Metabolic Disorders at Duke-NUS Medical School, Singapore, where she established a dietary mouse model showing that excess salt produces a lean MASH phenotype distinct from obese MASH in hepatic urea cycle activity, EIF5A hypusination, and immune cell activation. She holds a BSc in Biochemistry and a BA in Business from the University of Rochester, USA.
