Biography

Sujan Ravi, MD, is a transplant hepatologist and Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). His clinical and academic interests focus on improving care for patients with chronic liver disease. He serves as an Associate Principal in UAB's Clinical Transformation Office, where he leads multidisciplinary efforts to improve healthcare delivery, clinical operations, access, and quality across complex health systems. Dr. Ravi is also actively involved in medical education, quality improvement, and mentoring trainees in clinical research and healthcare delivery. His work is centered on bringing together clinical expertise, data, and systems-based approaches to improve patient outcomes and advance high-quality care.
