Sujun Zheng
Biography
Sujun Zheng, Professor and Chief Physician, Director of the First Department of Liver Disease, Beijing YouAn Hospital, Capital Medical University. Research focuses on functional cure of chronic hepatitis B, inherited metabolic liver diseases (Wilson disease and inherited hyperbilirubinemia), and liver disease biomarkers including sphingolipids and serum HBV RNA. Principal investigator of multiple national key R&D and Beijing municipal research grants, including national projects on novel combination immunotherapy for chronic hepatitis B. Over 50 peer-reviewed SCI publications in journals including Hepatology, Journal of Hepatology, Genes & Diseases, and Orphanet Journal of Rare Diseases. Active member of the Chinese Society for Hepatology and review expert for the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Research dedicated to translational work advancing diagnosis, risk stratification and precision management for chronic viral hepatitis and genetic metabolic liver disorders.
