Biography
Summer Collier, DNP, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in hepatology at UC San Diego Health. She has led initiatives to improve care delivery for patients with advanced liver disease, including the development of a transitions-of-care program for patients with cirrhosis that significantly reduced early hospital readmissions. Her scholarly work has also focused on increasing the use of pharmacotherapy for alcohol use disorder in the hepatology setting.
