Susan Gilmour, MD

Dr. Gilmour is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan and pursued post-graduate training at The Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto.Since accepting a faculty position at the University of Alberta, she has assumed leadership roles, including Program Director then Divisional Director Gastroenterology, Director of Pediatric Liver Transplant (2005 to present) and in 2009, the position as Chair and Chief of the Department of Pediatrics. Throughout her faculty appointment, she has had an active academic career in clinical and translational research in Pediatric liver diseases and transplantation, national contributions to organ transplantation and education about Pediatric liver disease, including liver transplantation.
