Teresa L Bordeaux, BA, BCPA

Teresa Bordeaux is the Chief Operating Officer/Chief Financial Officer for the National Blood Clot Alliance. Prior to joining the staff of NBCA in 2023, Teresa previously served in the volunteer roles of Board Chair, Treasurer and Board Member. Teresa is a Certified Public Accountant and worked for 17 years at the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants. She began her career in public accounting and worked in State and Local government in North Carolina before joining AICPA. Teresa is also a Board Certified Patient Advocate (BCPA) and caregiver to her husband, Larry who has battled with liver disease since 1996 and developed portal vein thrombosis in 2007.She previously served as a Patient Community Representative of AASLD Foundation's Individual Fundraising Committee and is currently a member of the Patient Advisory Group.
