Biography

Veronica Nguyen, MD, is a Transplant Hepatologist at Inova Health System. She completed her Transplant Hepatology fellowship at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. Dr. Nguyen is an active member of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) and has served on its Special Interest Group Steering Committee since 2022. She contributes to the field as a peer reviewer for journals including Transplantation, Clinical Liver Disease and ACG Case Reports Journal. Her clinical and research interests focus on multidisciplinary approaches to hepatocellular carcinoma, acute-on-chronic liver failure, and quality measures in care of the decompensated cirrhosis patient population.
