Won-Mook Choi, MD, PhD

I am Prof. Won-Mook Choi, currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Gastroenterology at Asan Medical Center. I received my medical degree from Seoul National University College of Medicine in 2010 and subsequently earned a PhD from KAIST in 2019.I completed my internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Seoul National University Hospital in 2015, followed by a fellowship in Gastroenterology at Asan Medical Center, which I completed in 2021.My research focuses on chronic hepatitis B and hepatocellular carcinoma, with particular emphasis on HBV-associated hepatocarcinogenesis through both translational and clinical research.
