Biography
Dr. Yu-Han Lin currently serves as the Acting Deputy Director of R&D at Sinew Pharma Inc. He earned his PhD in Molecular Medicine through a joint program between National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (Taiwan) and Academia Sinica (Taiwan), building upon a Master of Science in Microbiology and Immunology from Georgetown University (United States). During his doctoral studies, he led a multi-institutional collaboration and developed a bio-inspired nanotherapeutic platform, leading to a first-author publication in the prestigious journal ACS Nano (IF: 16), along with several co-authored papers in international journals with an average impact factor of approximately 9.His exceptional research capabilities earned him dual Champion Awards in both Oral and Poster Presentations at the 2024 International Conference of the Taiwan Nanomedicine Society.His core scientific expertise encompasses clinical pharmacokinetics, immunometabolism, and nanoparticle-based drug delivery systems. Dr. Lin possesses extensive experience in conducting comprehensive in vivo preclinical studies and pharmacokinetic evaluations. Recently, his translational work has focused on clinical pharmacokinetics, specifically co-authoring research on a novel acetaminophen formulation designed to prevent toxic metabolite formation and significantly enhance human liver safety. Dr. Lin's ultimate career goal is to bridge the gap between rigorous molecular research and clinical translational medicine, continuously striving to optimize drug safety profiles and develop innovative, safer therapeutic interventions.
